Ration Card: There is major news for Ration Card Holders. If you also buy grains from government ration shops, then this news is very important for you. Actually, after April 30, those whose e-KYC is not updated will stop getting ration. Jabalpur Collector Deepak Kumar Saxena says that this means that all other work should be done later, it is most important to get e-KYC done first. Otherwise you will not get ration next time.

He told that the government provides ration at cheap rates to those families who are financially weak. Essential items like wheat, rice, oil, salt are available at very low prices every month. But to get this facility, your family’s Samagra ID and ration card should be completely updated. The Samagra ID contains the information of every member of the family and it decides how much ration will be available.

Get E-KYC done by 30 April

The central government has said that it is mandatory to get e-KYC of ration card done by 30 April. Therefore, all ration card holders have to get e-KYC done. Apart from this, all the members included in the ration card will also have to get e-KYC done. At the same time, Jabalpur Collector also told the people to follow the government orders and get e-KYC of ration card done by 30 April, otherwise ration will be stopped.

Download Mera e-KYC app and login (with Aadhaar number and linked mobile)

Enter Aadhaar number and verify with OTP.

Aadhaar is necessary for E-KYC

There are many people in villages who neither have a phone nor technical understanding. Such people will have to go to their nearest ration shop and get E-KYC done through fingerprint. For this, it is necessary to carry Aadhar card with you. If the name of a family member has to be removed, then his death certificate will be required and if a new member has to be added, then birth certificate will have to be given. The government believes that many fake ration cards have been made and many times ration is being taken in the name of dead people. To stop this irregularity, E-KYC is now being done strictly.
