Every update and rumour seemingly leaves us at the same futile stage of acknowledging puny details that often get leaked over the internet. But this time around, we might have a few leaks that have been directly lifted from the filed patent documents by Take-Two. Although released trailers often reveal extensive details about a game, the first trailer from Rockstar, gave us limited information apart from inputs regarding the possible locations that the new game would showcase.
While Rockstar has been keeping the game secrets close to their chest, neither revelations nor leaks have been able to disclose the most integral details about the game. Rockstar games have been rather tight lipped regarding the release of the second trailer as well. But since fans have been researching and dissecting every detail, and in a similar pursuit a YouTuber by the name of CYBER BOI revealed a few new inventions that Take-Two plans to use and have filed a patent for.
New Leak By YouTuber
The YouTuber went through the 88-page document filed last year and recently confirmed that a few of the features that have been listed in the document might make it into the final game. Most of these patented new inventions were about how the characters would move about in the game, Run and how the animations for all of these actions had been detailed.
Most of the animations for characters that were featured in the previous games were created through Motion Capture. One of the biggest challenges with Motion capture technique was while trying to animate characters which had stand out physical traits. Such as a tall man or a bulky stout man, for all such animations the studio had to hire actors who had similar traits.
New Innovations
This new innovation that has been patented by Rockstar takes all the guesswork out of the development. The game engine that Rockstar has been using would be able to carry out animations for all characters of different weights and builds with ease. While this might seem like a mundane detail it would give the users a vast array of possibilities while creating their online character Avatar. Beyond that the new innovation would also lead to new animations for the single player as well. The Youtuber further details that the new technology would allow the studio to use more time and energy in other tasks that would further diversify the game. The new tech would further allow online players to customize the height and weight of the online player avatars.
