Wyndham Clark on magic of Augusta and studying Tiger Woods’ approach
Wyndham Clark joins Sports Seriously to talk about the Masters and how he’s studied Tiger Woods’ success there over the years.
The first round of 2025 Masters hasn’t teed off yet, but one of the event’s favorite traditions takes place Tuesday: the Champions Dinner.
One of the most exclusive dinners in sports, the Champions Dinner brings all the people who have won the illustrious green jacket for a night together at Augusta National Golf Club. Not only is it a prestigious honor to eat amongst golf’s greats, but the dinner menu is handpicked by the previous year’s winner.
This year’s dinner menu is courtesy of 2024 champion Scottie Scheffler, and it will feature some Texas flair from the University of Texas alumnus. It’s his second time hosting the dinner after he won the Masters in 2022, and attendees will notice some of similarities to the 2023 menu.

Cheeseburger sliders: served Scottie-style
Firecracker shrimp: Sweet Thai chili and sriracha mayo
Papa Scheff’s meatball and ravioli bites: Pecorino cheese, tomato basil sauce
First course
Texas-style chili: Cheddar cheese, jalapeños, corn chips
Main course
Choice of wood-fired cowboy ribeye or blackened redfish: Family style macaroni and cheese, jalapeño creamed corn, soy glazed brussels sprouts, chipotle-line roasted sweet potatoes
Dessert
Warm chocolate chip skillet cookie: Vanilla bean ice cream
What to know about Scottie Scheffler’s menu
Off the bat, people will wonder what are “Scottie-style” sliders, and it’s quite the treat. It’s burgers with French fries placed on top, which is a favorite of Scheffler. It was also on his 2023 menu.
Papa Scheff’s meatballs are courtesy of Scheffler’s dad, Scott, a favorite meal of Scheffler growing up. Also added is chili inspired by his coach Randy Smith. It replaces a tortilla soup that was reportedly extremely spicy, but will still have some heat with jalapeños included the chili.
The wood-fired cowboy ribeye or blackened redfish returns from the 2023 menu.
When does 2025 Masters Tournament start?
The 89th Masters Tournament tees off on Thursday, April 10, and will conclude Sunday, April 13.
